I made this one-off coaster by fusing together 3 pieces of glass. The deep blue colours are reminiscent of seaside holidays for me. The larger piece of glass is streaky and opaque, so no light passes through it. The smaller piece is semi-opaque with streaks of blue running through it. Apart from being pretty and very reflective, this glass tile makes a practical coaster for placing hot or cold drinks on. The bumper stops on the bottom stop it from slipping on any surface.

The coaster is 10 cm square.
It weighs 147 gm.
