A square dish made with purple powdered glass on a clear base. Coarse blue, white and clear chunks of glass were added and melted into the design. This is a technique called ‘frit migration’. When the glass pieces melt together, it yields a random 3D pattern that has an amoebic appearance. All the glass is transparent apart from the white frit, so it looks nice on a stand or in a window. There are 2 of these dishes, the same size, colour and design, though each is unique so they aren’t identical. They can be sold separately or as a pair.

The dish is 14.5 cm square.
