I used specialist streaky glass to make these two coasters. The colours remind me of the sea in Greece where I have spent many happy times. I fused the blue glass to a clear piece to make a 6 mm thick tile, then put bumper stops on the bottoms to stop them slipping on any surface. Apart from their beauty, they have a practical purpose as well. Hot and cold drinks may be placed on them safely, and they will adorn your table when not in use.

Each coaster is 10 cm square.
Together they weigh 285 gm.
