Description

I made this fused glass bowl using some very special handmade glass from Pennsylvania, USA. They call it ‘tiger stripes’ but I think this bowl looks like the surface of Mars, or at least how I imagine that to be. The colours are vibrant and the contrast of orange against black is striking, to say the least. Although I made every attempt to show off this piece in the photos, it is much prettier in real life. The colours are unusual and seldom found in fusing glass, making this bowl quite unique.

It is 25 cm in diameter.
The height is 8 cm.
The bowl weighs 1090 gms.
