A small decorative dish which can be nicely displayed on a plate stand or on a table. It is made using a frit migration technique. Powdered blue glass is applied to a clear base, then coarse frit (like glass gravel) is placed on top and fused. As the glass becomes molten it ‘migrates’ to cause a unique design with a 3D effect. It is then slumped into a mold to achieve the final shape. The result is an unusual and eye-catching piece, a lovely addition to anyone’s home.
