I fused a piece of autumnal coloured glass with a circle of clear glass, then slumped it in a mould to make this pretty bowl. It is small but very practical, and I’m loath to part with it. The white glass is semi-opaque, so the leaf patterns can be seen through it when near a light source. The glass is substantial, 6 mm thick, making this bowl very sturdy. It’s delightful on its own, but it does invite you to put things in it as well.

The bowl weighs 437gm.
It is 16 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm in height.
